Commission at Cervelló, Baix Llobregat county, for the conception, design and subsequent construction management of a new single-family house on an undeveloped plot, with a significant slope. Good views towards the Llobregat river valley, but with the sun in the opposite direction.

We propose a house with access from the second floor, from the upper street. The living room is open to the south to capture the sun in winter and to a garden, accessible at the same level. A terrace seeks the distant views over the Llobregat to the northeast. The bedrooms are on the lower floor, buried at the back, but open to the views and to the lower level of the garden. On the second floor, there is a studio with a large panoramic window and access to the solarium deck.

Unfortunately, the work suffered budget cuts in the last phase, which meant that the planned sun protection and slatted louvres had to be dispensed with. Finally they forced to suspend the end of work for a long time, until they could gather the means to finish the project.
