The assignment consisted of the design and supervision of the rehabilitation of the two facades of a property in Sant Martí a Barcelona’s neighborhood. Both the street facade and the interior facing of the block, which had been in very poor condition for years, especially the balcony slabs.

It was necessary to demolish and rebuild all the balcony slabs. The balustrades were rebuilt with new prefabricated pieces. The lintels of the openings were reinforced, mouldings and finishes were rebuilt. On the first floor, the openings that had been altered were unified to recover as much as possible the symmetrical composition of the original facade. The finish was with silicate paint and the chromatic criteria dictated by the Eixample Color Plan.

The project included all the additional documentation necessary for the Owners Community to receive the rehabilitation grants from the Barcelona City Council.
