The triple sports pavilion is located in the centre of the sports area of Las Escuelas de Can Guerxo, in Sant Jordi de ses Salines.

A dynamic and light image was desired, in keeping with the building’s intended use. A sloping roof raised above an orthogonal, forceful volume, linked to the terrain. The slit between the inclined plane that acts as a roof and the volume that delimits the facilities allows the lighting of the sports space, enhancing the effect of weightlessness. The solution of the building’s exterior materials, made of galvanised steel sheet and lacquered in metallic grey, provides the uniformity of finishes sought to emphasise the volumetric character of the architecture, the play of shadows over the contrasts of colour, and the use of the same materials in the building’s exterior.
