Open competition called by the City Council of Sentmenat for the realization of the executive project and construction management. First prize.

The site is characterized by a steep slope, so the school is located on a single floor. All the rooms for the children’s permanent stay are oriented to the south, protecting the openings from direct sunlight with an eave. The roof, with a finished landscaped treatment, is located in continuity with the highest level of the plot, providing more free space and a complementary playground.

To mark the building with respect to the upper road, a brightly colored ridge marks the entrance. A powerful skylight brings sunlight to the back of the lobby. The outdoor playgrounds are well delimited and protected spaces, with good sunlight to the south and shaded areas with tree planting.
